Emma Frances Chamberlain (born May 22nd, 2001 (11)) is an American internet celebrity and model. She won the 2018 Streamy Award to Breakout Creator. 2 Time magazine listed her on their Time 100 Next and 25 Most Influential People Lists for 2019.[3] They wrote that Chamberlain was the first person to use vlogging as a style guideline for YouTube. Chamberlain has been a spokesperson for Louis Vuitton and Cartier since 2019. Chamberlain was born May 22, 2001, in San Bruno to Michael John Chamberlain and Sophia Pinetree Chamberlain. Chamberlain was the only child of her divorced parents. Chamberlain stated that her family struggled financially throughout her childhood despite growing up in San Francisco. Chamberlain explained that the family relied on her father's artwork and they had to endure "hard times" after he died. [8] She attended Central Middle School in San Carlos, California, and Notre Dame High School, Belmont,[9] an all-girl Catholic preparatory institution where she was in the track and cheerleading teams. For five years she was a cheerleader and a member the California All Stars Pink cheer squad. 10 years old, she left high school during the first term of her junior year and was able to graduate after passing the California High School Exit Exam.
