thomas sadoski-2Sadoski began his stage career that was awarded with awards as an understudy to Mark Ruffalo and Mark Rosenthal in the Off Broadway production of Kenneth Lonergan's critically reviewed production This is Our Youth at the Second Stage Theatre. The production marked the start of many productions for the New York-based theatre group. He has performed in numerous Broadway and Off Broadway productions as well as many performances in regional theatres. He played the role of Greg in Neil LaBute's production of Reasons to be Beautiful at the MCC Theatre with his Newsroom co-star Alison Pill. After a sold-out Off-Broadway run, it was transferred to Broadway in April 2009. It earned three Tony Award nominations, including Best Actor and Best Actress: Marin Ireland, and three Drama Desk Award nominations for Best actor and Best Director: Terry Kinney. [6] Neil LaBute gives credit to Sadoski for the notable shift in tone in reasons of being pretty that was inspired by the playwright's earlier works.
