BellamyBellamy Young, born Amy Maria Young on 19 February 1970 ([1]) was an American actor, producer, and singer , best well-known for her character Melody "Mellie", Grant, in ABC's drama series Scandal (2012)-2018. The actress was awarded this year's Critics' choice Television award for best supporting actress in dramas. She also starred in the Fox show Prodigal Son (2019-2021). Young's acting journey began with the theatre. In 1997 Young made her Broadway debut in the role of Mary in the first production of The Life. Young has had more than 30 appearances in TV shows from 2000 to 2011.
